Do you use contracts?
No long-term commitments here. All of our memberships run on a month-to-month basis. You’re free to cancel anytime; we just ask for a 30-day notice prior to your next billing cycle.
Are the weapons included in the addon package?
The Add-On package covers instruction and curriculum for our two weekly weapons classes, while the physical gear is sold separately. This lets students pick the specific weapon they want to focus on! You can grab your training gear directly through our school shop.
What weapons can be learned?
We offer a full spectrum of traditional martial arts weapons! Our Moogi students can choose from Nunchucks, Bo Staff, or Sword. Color Belts can expand into Double Nunchucks and Kamas, in addition our Black Belts get access to advanced training with the Martial Arts Fan and Cane.
Are there any additional costs or extra fees?
No surprises here! We believe in total transparency so you can budget with confidence. Beyond your monthly tuition, here is what to expect as your student progresses:
- Uniform (Dobok): Included with your initial enrollment package so you’re ready on day one.
- Belt Testing Fees: Held every 10 weeks, but testing is never mandatory. It’s a joint decision made together by the instructor, parent, and student when everyone feels confident. Testing fees cover the evaluation, official certification, and new rank.
- Sparring Gear: Required once students reach Camo Belt. You can purchase a complete, approved safety gear set directly through our school shop.
We promise to give you plenty of notice before any upcoming expense so you always know what’s ahead.
Can I train with my child?
Yes! We love seeing parents and kids step onto the mat together. Training as a family is a fantastic way to bond, stay active, and support each other’s goals. Join us every Friday for our dedicated Family Class—it’s open to all skill levels!
Is there a family discount?
Absolutely! We support family martial arts journeys with tiered monthly savings: $150 for the first student, $125 for the second, $100 for the third, and just $75 for any additional family members. If anyone chooses to participate in our specialized Weapons Program, it’s just an additional $25 per month per student.
How many classes can I attend per week?
As many as you’d like! Your membership includes unlimited classes appropriate for your age and rank, Monday through Friday. Check out our SCHEDULE page to find the specific times for your level.
Can I stay and watch my child’s class?
100%! We strongly encourage parents to sit in and watch their children train. You’re a crucial part of their martial arts journey, and we want you to see their hard work, progress, and growth firsthand every step of the way.
Do beginners need any prior experience?
Zero experience needed! Everyone starts at the beginning, and our instructors are here to guide you or your child every step of the way. We focus on building confidence, focus, and basic technique from day one, regardless of you or your child’s background.
